Laura Bifano

Presentation

Born and raised on Vancouver island, Laura was educated at the Alberta College of Art and Design. She has worked as a concept and storyboard artist on the kids series "Raven Tales," a freelance illustrator, and has recently made a foray into the scary world Gallery shows.
Her paintings range from being whimsical and lighthearted to macabre and subtly disquieting.
Her characters exist in their own quiet world, immediately accessible yet distant.
At the moment, she's working on a 50 page mini comic about some kids and a troll which she'll be self publishing early next year.
She enjoys cheesy science fiction novels, bicycling, and making pictures. She's inspired by music, stories, and the amazing people she surrounds herself with.
